To tell the truth, I don't like words or explanations. I could give you a pseudo-intellectual speech about my art, drawings, paintings, or something more raw.

But I don't feel like it, I don't see the point. Words are words. If I wanted to take you in that direction, I would write a book.There's none of that here.

PORTOFOLIO / ESSAYS

- Mesquin Essays -

The result of spontaneous work, there is no common thread here other than artistic expression or exploration. This can be expressed through color, movement, or the variability of an emotion.

A3 - MESQUIN - CERCLE

Here, the artist started with a round table on which a number of sheets of paper were laid out. Once gathered, the idea is to space them out in order to give a different perspective on the creation.

PASTEL - MESQUIN

This is an experiment with paper texture. These drawings are done in pastel.

Colab - MESQUIN / BLOO

Two artists, two worlds. The table was crammed with drawings, paintings and tools. Bloo asked Mesquin to paint with him, so a four-handed nocturnal session ensued. Here, emotion takes centre stage, along with desire and darkness.

Buste - MESQUIN

This series of busts is the beginning of a long series. It addresses themes such as psychological pain, female menstruation, and the notion of desire that men feel for the female body. Half man, half pig. A constant desire and a contradiction of the sexes, of sex... of oneself. This is the starting point for the second act, the man, the pig, who becomes confused in his desire, reflecting his own image. It is no longer a bust but a face that appears, and only God knows if the line between them is thin.

Seins - MESQUIN

Desire, imperfection, longing, birth, motherhood, the fragility of life through the representation of men's desire, or not.

A3 Perspectives - MESQUIN

Here, the idea is to create a work based on the concept of perspective. It gives the viewer a particular impression, mainly due to the visual aspect of the work.

SELF PORTRAIT -MESQUIN

Here, it's a self-portrait, a collection of self-portraits.
